This Privacy Policy describes how Gift Idea Limited handles information in connection with customcountermat.com, based on the current website implementation.

We manufacture custom counter mats and related branded products for business customers on an OEM / private-label basis. The website is used to describe products and receive project inquiries. It does not provide customer accounts or an online checkout.

3. Scope of this policy

This policy covers information handled in connection with:

  • browsing customcountermat.com and www.customcountermat.com;
  • submitting the Request a Quote form or the Contact form;
  • emailing us at the public address shown on the website; and
  • choosing to contact us through WhatsApp or public social-media profiles linked from the website.

It does not describe the privacy practices of third-party websites or apps that we do not control, including WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or X. Cloudflare’s and Resend’s own practices are described only to the limited extent supported by this website’s implementation; their documentation governs their services.

Separate commercial contracts, if later agreed, may contain additional confidentiality or data-handling terms. Those contracts are not formed by submitting a website form.

4. Information we collect

4.1 Information you submit through website forms

The Request a Quote and Contact forms collect the following fields:

  • product type (required);
  • quantity (required);
  • size / dimension (optional);
  • logo / decoration method (required);
  • company name (optional);
  • email address (required);
  • WhatsApp number (optional); and
  • project details (optional).

The forms do not include file-upload fields. Please do not send payment-card details through these forms. A form submission is an inquiry, not an online purchase.

4.2 Information created when a form is submitted

When a form is submitted, the website also processes a Cloudflare Turnstile response used to help reduce automated spam. The website’s form handlers send that response to Cloudflare’s Turnstile verification service. If Cloudflare provides a connecting IP address on the request, the handler may include it in that verification request.

The Turnstile token is used for that verification step. The website application does not store Turnstile tokens or verification results in a database, CMS, or other persistent application storage.

4.3 Information collected through hosting, security, and analytics

The website is hosted through Cloudflare Pages and delivered through Cloudflare's global network. Cloudflare also provides proxying, content delivery, security protections, Turnstile bot protection, Web Analytics, and Email Address Obfuscation for the website.

In providing these services, Cloudflare may process technical information associated with website requests and website operation, including information used for traffic delivery, security, bot protection, analytics, and protection against malicious or abusive activity.

Cloudflare Web Analytics provides information such as visits, page views, the URLs visited, browser and operating-system information, country-level information, and website performance measurements such as Core Web Vitals.

Cloudflare's processing of information is subject to Cloudflare's applicable privacy documentation and terms.

We do not state a specific retention period for information processed through Cloudflare in this Privacy Policy because retention may vary depending on the particular Cloudflare service, security function, or configuration involved.

4.4 Local device storage

Product detail pages may store a value named lastClickedCta in the browser’s localStorage. The stored value is the identifier of the last selected on-page call-to-action button on that device (for example, quote, WhatsApp, or X). It is used only to restore that button’s appearance on later visits to a product page. It is not submitted with quote or contact forms and is not sent to the website server by the application.

4.5 Information we do not collect through the current website

Based on the current implementation, the website does not:

  • create customer accounts or login sessions;
  • operate checkout, shopping-cart, or payment processing;
  • accept file uploads through the published forms;
  • include a newsletter or marketing-email signup;
  • use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or other advertising or behavioral-tracking tags;
  • load Google Fonts; or
  • embed maps.

Craft CMS is used to manage some website content at build time. Visitor quote and contact submissions are not sent to Craft CMS by the current form endpoints.

5. How we collect information

We collect information:

  • directly from you, when you complete a form, email us, or message us;
  • automatically, through website hosting, CDN/proxy, security, and analytics services operated by Cloudflare; and
  • on your device, when product pages write lastClickedCta to localStorage.

If you contact us through WhatsApp or a social network, that platform also collects information under its own policy. We receive only what you send us, or what that platform makes available to a business account. The website does not transmit form submissions to those platforms merely because outbound links exist.

6. How we use information

We use information submitted through the website to:

  • review OEM / private-label inquiries and quote requests;
  • respond to questions about products, samples, artwork, packaging, or delivery destinations you describe;
  • reduce spam and abuse of the forms; and
  • operate, secure, and understand use of the website at a high level through Cloudflare’s hosting, security, and Web Analytics services.

Submitting a form does not create a production order, payment obligation, or guaranteed response time. The website’s “reply within 24 hours” statement is a service aim on the Request a Quote page, not a contractual commitment in this policy.

The current website does not include a newsletter, marketing-email signup, or unsubscribe mechanism, and the form endpoints do not send marketing emails. Website inquiry information is not currently used for unrelated marketing communications.

The website does not operate checkout or advertising pixels. This Privacy Policy does not classify whether any particular disclosure would be treated as a “sale” or “share” under a specific privacy law.

7. Service providers and sharing

We use third-party service providers to operate the website, protect it, deliver communications, and receive and manage business inquiries. Based on the current website implementation and service configuration, these providers include:

  • Cloudflare — used for website hosting through Cloudflare Pages, proxying and content delivery through Cloudflare's network, Turnstile bot protection, Web Analytics, Email Address Obfuscation, and Cloudflare security protections associated with the website. Cloudflare may process technical information associated with website requests and the operation and security of these services.
  • Resend — used to send internal notification emails when a website form is submitted. Quote-request notifications are sent to sales@customcountermat.com, and contact-form notifications are sent to info@customcountermat.com. The submitted form fields are included in these notifications, and the visitor's email address is used as the reply-to address. Resend states that customer data is stored in the United States and that its primary processing operations take place in the United States.
  • Apple / iCloud Mail — used to host and deliver our business email accounts, including the mailboxes that receive website inquiry notifications. Information contained in those business email communications may therefore be processed through Apple's email services.

Our current website form endpoints do not write submitted form information to a separate database or CRM system.

Resend's documented retention periods apply to information retained by Resend and do not determine how long inquiry emails remain in our business mailboxes. Resend currently states that, while an account is active, email and log data are retained for 30 days on its applicable Free, Pro, and Scale plans, with backups retained for 7 days.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, government authorities, law-enforcement agencies, courts, or other parties where required or permitted by applicable law, or where reasonably necessary to protect our website, business, rights, property, or the safety of others.

This Privacy Policy describes the service providers we currently use in connection with the website and website inquiries. It does not separately list each provider's subprocessors, data-center locations, or all retention schedules. Those matters may be governed by the applicable terms, privacy documentation, and data-processing terms of the relevant service provider.

8. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

This website does not currently display a cookie-consent banner. That does not mean the site uses no cookies or similar technologies.

The website’s own application source does not create, read, or delete cookies. In particular, the application does not set cookie attributes such as expires, max-age, path, domain, SameSite, Secure, or HttpOnly.

Technologies that are used:

  • localStorage. Product detail pages may store lastClickedCta as described in section 4.4. The application does not set an expiry for this value and does not delete it. It remains until you clear site data for customcountermat.com.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile. The Contact and Request a Quote pages load Cloudflare’s Turnstile script. Cloudflare may set cookies or similar technologies as part of that security check. Cookie names, durations, and purposes for that service are governed by Cloudflare’s applicable documentation.
  • Cloudflare hosting, CDN/proxy, Web Analytics, and Email Address Obfuscation. These Cloudflare services may set cookies or similar technologies according to Cloudflare’s own documentation. This Privacy Policy does not list a complete inventory of Cloudflare cookie names, durations, or purposes.

The application source does not use sessionStorage, IndexedDB, service workers, or Cache Storage for this website.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect security checks such as Turnstile and may prevent a form from submitting.

9. Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is used on this website to help us understand website usage and performance. The analytics dashboard provides information such as visits, page views, the URLs visited, browser and operating-system information, country-level information, and website performance measurements such as Core Web Vitals.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is provided and configured through Cloudflare rather than through analytics code maintained in our website application.

We do not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or similar advertising or behavioral-tracking analytics technologies.

Analytics information is processed by Cloudflare in connection with its Web Analytics service. Details concerning Cloudflare's analytics processing, including applicable data handling, privacy practices, and retention, are governed by Cloudflare's applicable privacy documentation and service terms.

10. Retention

Our website application does not store contact or quote submissions in a database, CMS, CRM, or other persistent storage operated by the website. When you submit a contact or quote form, the information you provide is transmitted through Resend to our internal business mailboxes so that we can review and respond to your inquiry.

Resend states that, while an account is active, email and log data are retained for 30 days on its applicable Free, Pro, and Scale plans. Resend also states that backups are retained for 7 days. These periods apply to data retained by Resend and do not determine how long inquiry emails remain in our business mailboxes.

We retain inquiry emails and related business records for as long as reasonably necessary to review and respond to inquiries, manage business relationships, and comply with applicable business, accounting, legal, or regulatory requirements. We do not apply a fixed automatic deletion period to the Custom Counter Mat business mailboxes through the website application.

Cloudflare Web Analytics and other Cloudflare services may retain information according to their applicable service terms, documentation, and configuration. We do not state a single Cloudflare retention period in this Privacy Policy because retention may vary depending on the particular Cloudflare service and type of information involved.

Turnstile verification tokens are temporary security credentials used to verify form submissions. Our website does not store Turnstile tokens after processing the request.

Product detail pages may store a value named lastClickedCta in your browser's local storage. This value records the last product-page call-to-action selected and is not submitted with our forms. It remains in your browser until you clear site data for customcountermat.com. Our application does not set an expiry or deletion schedule for this value.

Retention periods for information processed by third-party providers may also be subject to those providers' applicable privacy policies, terms, and data-processing documentation.

11. International processing

GIFT IDEA LIMITED is located in the People’s Republic of China. The website is used by international business visitors, and information you submit may therefore be processed in China and in other countries where we or our service providers operate.

We use service providers whose services involve processing information outside China. For example, Resend states that it stores customer data in the United States and that its primary processing operations take place in the United States. Information submitted through our website forms and transmitted to Resend may therefore be processed and stored in the United States.

Cloudflare may process information through infrastructure and services operating in multiple locations. We do not configure the website to require Cloudflare to process information in a particular country or region, and we therefore do not represent that information processed by Cloudflare will remain in China or in any other single country.

Where applicable to a particular transfer and data-protection law, our service providers may use recognized safeguards for international data transfers. Resend states that transfers from the European Economic Area are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in its Data Processing Addendum, with the UK Addendum applying to relevant UK transfers and specified modifications applying to Swiss transfers. Resend also participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension.

The safeguards applicable to a particular transfer depend on the provider, the service involved, the location of the data subject, and the data-protection law governing that transfer.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical measures appropriate to a brochure and inquiry website, including HTTPS delivery through Cloudflare, Turnstile on the published forms, and server-side validation of submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

13. Your requests

Depending on where you are located, applicable law may give you rights to ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or other handling of your personal information.

To make a request, email info@customcountermat.com. We may need to verify your identity or request additional information before acting on a request. We will handle requests within the time required by applicable law and may apply any exceptions, limitations, or verification requirements permitted by applicable law.

We do not currently provide an automated privacy-request or data-export system through the website. Requests are handled through our business email process.

If you no longer want us to use a WhatsApp number or email address for an open inquiry, say so in your message. Unsubscribing from a platform such as WhatsApp or a social network is controlled by that platform.

14. Children

The website is intended for business customers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children through this website.

15. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, suppliers, or legal requirements change. The last-updated date at the top of this page will be revised when a new version is published.
